Associate Attorney – Patent Practice Group – Grand Rapids Office – Full Time

Bodman’s Patent Group is seeking an associate with 2 to 4 years of patent experience and a technical background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field to work in Bodman’s Grand Rapids office. In this position, you will focus on drafting and prosecuting patent applications that are intricate to our clients’ global patent and IP strategies. You will also have the opportunity to conduct freedom-to-operate and landscape analysis and to gain exposure to preparing patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions. Further, in our general practice firm, there will be opportunities to support IP-related litigation and transactional practices.
