Five Attorneys Join Bodman PLC

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that attorneys Alexander J. Burridge. Rebecca El Badaoui, Emily P. Jenks, Alexander L. Krasuski, and Kelsey M. Lutz, have joined the firm as associates.

All five were members of Bodman’s 2019 class of summer associates.

Burridge, of Bodman’s Detroit office, is a member of the Workplace Law Practice Group. He represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including advising them on day to day employment issues and maintaining compliance with all applicable employment laws.

He is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan State University College of Law. Burridge also holds an M.B.A. in Finance and served previously on the board of directors of Spartan Consulting, a student-led organization that provides strategic business solutions to companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations.

El Badaoui, of Bodman’s Detroit office, is a member of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She represents clients involved in complex commercial litigation matters.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review, as secretary of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association, and as Wayne Region Liaison of the Women’s Law Caucus.

Jenks, of Bodman’s Troy office, is a member of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She represents clients involved in complex commercial litigation matters.

She is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan State University College of Law. Jenks served as managing editor for the Michigan State Law Review, participated in the Williams Moot Court competition, and was a King Scholar. She also served as a volunteer clinician with the Animal Welfare Clinic and as an officer with the Anti-Trafficking Legal Advocacy Society.

Krasuski, of Bodman’s Detroit office, is a member of the Banking Practice Group and the Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Rights Practice Group. He represents financial institutions in a variety of commercial lending matters, including advising on troubled credit situations. He also represents creditors, trustees, and other parties in a variety of commercial bankruptcy matters and debtor-creditor disputes.

He is a magna cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School, where he served as an associate editor of the Wayne Law Review. Krasuski has an undergraduate business degree with a major in Accounting and has served tax internships with the United States Department of Treasury-Internal Revenue Service and with two Fortune 500 corporations.

Lutz, of Bodman’s Ann Arbor office, is a member of the Business Practice Group. She represents a variety of corporate clients in connection with the structuring and negotiation of complex business transactions and on general organizational and business matters.

She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Minnesota Law Review. She was selected as a student instructor for the law school’s first-year legal writing program and served as a student attorney for the Federal Immigration Law Clinic.
