Cheboygan was a thriving town by the time that J.F. Watson built the county courthouse. It had been nicknamed “Hub City” and promoted as a “Gateway to the North”; before receiving the nickname of “Old Rivertown.”
Today, Cheboygan is best known as the gateway to Michigan’s famed inland waterway. Visitors flock to Cheboygan year round to enjoy the area’s natural beauty and many outdoor activities.
Our Cheboygan office, located in the historic county courthouse, is home to a bank regulatory practice that serves more than 60 financial institutions throughout the state and across the nation. We also provide Northern Michigan manufacturers, governmental agencies, health care providers, service firms, and other businesses with expert counsel in many areas, including labor and employment, real estate, corporate, and litigation.
