Alexander Choi Joins Bodman PLC in Troy Office

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Alexander Choi has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the Real Estate and Construction practice groups, based in the Troy office.
Choi focuses his practice on construction law and real estate transactions. He represents owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in negotiating contracts and resolving disputes involving residential and commercial projects such as multifamily, retail, and industrial buildings. He also represents clients in connection with commercial and residential purchase and sale transactions and has represented landlords and tenants in negotiating and documenting leases of office, commercial, and residential spaces.
Before joining Bodman, Choi practiced at another Michigan-based law firm where he was an associate attorney in the construction law, real estate, and business litigation practices.
Choi is a cum laude graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.
As a law student, Choi served as an associate editor for The Detroit Mercy Law Review. He also served as president of the Business Law Society and as a judicial clerk for Magistrate Judge R. Steven Whalen at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and retired Judge Wendy Potts at Oakland County Circuit Court.
