Bodman PLC Admits Four New Members

David C. Bosman, Brandon M. Dalziel, Jason R. Gourley & Rebecca D’Arcy O’Reilly Become Members

Detroit-based law firm Bodman PLC has admitted David C. Bosman, Brandon M. Dalziel, Jason R. Gourley, and Rebecca D’Arcy O’Reilly as members of the firm.

Bosman, of Bodman’s Detroit office, is a member of the Banking Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in representing financial institutions in commercial loan transactions, including single lender and syndicated loan transactions. He has experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting asset-based loans and real estate financing to borrowers in a variety of industries, including manufacturing. He also works with clients financing early-stage companies in technology and life sciences industries.

Bosman, who is admitted to practice in both Michigan and California, joined Bodman in 2006 as an associate attorney. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Wayne State University Law School.

Dalziel, of the Detroit office, is a member of Bodman’s Business, Health Care, and Banking Practice Groups. He represents business clients in a wide scope of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate organization, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial transactions. He represents health care industry clients in transactional issues, compliance matters, contracts, and hospital by-law issues. He also represents lenders in commercial loan originations.

Dalziel joined Bodman as an associate in 2005. Before he became an attorney, Dalziel managed clinical studies and integrated genetics into drug development with Pfizer Global Research & Development in Ann Arbor. He has an undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame, a Master’s degree from the Wayne State University Medical School, and a law degree from Wayne State University Law School.

Gourley, of Bodman’s Detroit office, is a member if the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He has experience in civil litigation matters including civil rights work, resolution of shareholder disputes, employment matters, and intellectual property matters.

Gourley joined Bodman as an associate attorney in 2008 after starting his career with another Michigan-based firm. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Tulane University Law School and he completed a mediator training program at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. Gourley is a recipient of the ACLU Defender of Liberty Award.

O’Reilly, of the Detroit office, is a member of the firm’s Health Care and Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Groups. She focuses her practice on meeting all needs of health care industry clients, including hospitals, medical centers, physician groups, laboratories, insurers, and employer provided health and welfare benefit plans.

O’Reilly joined Bodman as an associate attorney in 2006. Before joining Bodman she served a judicial clerkship and practiced employee benefits law with a firm in Washington, D.C. She serves on the board of directors of the Lincoln-King Academy in Detroit, on the board of trustees for the City of Grosse Pointe Foundation, on the board of New Leaders of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and as a Partner of Cornerstone Schools. She is listed as a Rising Star in Civil Litigation Defense and Health Care in Michigan Super Lawyers 2011.
