Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Members Stephen Dunn, Jill Miller, and Jennifer Oertel have been selected for inclusion in Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting, and Law 2026.

Crain’s Detroit Business’s Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law honors senior-level professionals who are making a meaningful impact within their organizations, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and driving positive change in their industries. In addition to their professional accomplishments, these individuals demonstrate a strong commitment to their communities through leadership and service in professional, civic, and nonprofit organizations.

With over 20 years of first chair jury trial and arbitration experience, Dunn focuses his practice on litigating complex, high-stakes business disputes. He also leads teams handling corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, combinations, joint ventures, restructurings and lending transactions. Snelling, Minnesota.

As chair of Bodman’s Data Privacy and Security Group, Miller maintains a national practice advising clients in the electronic payments processing industry on complex contractual and regulatory matters with a particular focus on privacy and cybersecurity laws. She serves as co-chair of Bodman’s Culture Committee and is an active mentor in the firm’s associate mentorship program. Additionally, Miller is outside general counsel to the Retail Solutions Providers Association, a national organization bringing retail technology solutions to market.

Oertel, co-chair of Bodman’s Exempt Organizations and Impact Investing practice group, provides strategic business advice and practical legal guidance to a diverse range of tax-exempt organizations, including impact funds and investors, family and corporate foundations, community foundations and public charities, and chambers of commerce. She is co-chair of the Nonprofit Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a fellow with the Council of Michigan Foundations, where she serves as an expert in residence for impact investing.
