Shell is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Environmental Law, Municipal Law and Finance, and Construction practice groups. Based in our Detroit office, she specializes in navigating the space between litigation and economic development, with a focus on environmental challenges that clients face throughout the course of real estate transactions. This interdisciplinary approach affords clients both continuity and cost savings in the event of litigation.
Shell has received several recognitions throughout her career. She has been listed in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2022 under Commercial Litigation and as a DBusiness Magazine “Top Lawyer” since 2021 under Environmental Law. She has also listed in Michigan Rising Stars 2023 under Real Estate. In 2019, Shell was selected as the Detroit Bar Association Barristers “Barrister of the Year” which recognizes a Barristers board member who has exhibited an unusual commitment to service through his or her work with the Barristers.
