Jake W. Gordon Joins Bodman PLC Detroit Office
Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that attorney Jake W. Gordon has joined the firm as a member in the Detroit office.
Gordon joins Bodman’s Banking Practice Group and Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Rights Practice Group. He concentrates his legal practice on representing creditors, including major banks, in commercial loan workouts, in-court and out-of-court corporate restructurings, and other troubled credit matters.
He is an experienced restructuring attorney who regularly counsels a broad range of corporate clients in Chapter 11 cases across the United States.
Before joining Bodman, Gordon was an associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis. He was a member of the firm’s restructuring group representing corporations in some of the largest restructurings nationwide across various industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, media, retail and telecommunications.
Gordon is a cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He also earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy, political science and economics, with honors, from the University of Michigan.
