Michelle Thurber Czapski Named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2026 Influential Women of Law List

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Michelle Thurber Czapski, a member in the firm’s Troy office, has been named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2026 Influential Women of Law list.
Individuals selected for inclusion are recognized for excellence in the practice of law, leadership within the profession, a commitment to mentoring others, and dedication to improving the justice system. Honorees have demonstrated a meaningful impact on the legal community through professional achievement, advocacy, community involvement, volunteerism, and pro bono efforts.
Czapski is co-chair of Bodman’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group and Chair of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. With more than three decades of experience, she represents major corporate clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings and counsels clients on business disputes, claims, risk management, and strategic decision-making. She is a fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation, a national director on the Board of Directors of the Defense Research Institute, and a master of the bench with the Detroit Bar Association Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
