Pro Bono Spotlight: Matt Fleming and Kelly Lockman Secure New Southfield Headquarters for Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County

Congratulations to Bodman’s Matthew Fleming and Kelly Lockman who recently assisted Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County in purchasing their new Southfield, Michigan headquarters building.
Early this year, Matt and Kelly were asked to facilitate the purchase of Habitat’s new Southfield building, including assistance with review of the purchase agreement, title commitment and survey, and drafting and negotiating the closing documents with the title company and seller to consummate the transaction. With their help, Habitat for Humanity was able to purchase the new building and is planning to move its administrative operations as well as some aspects of its Habitat ReStore resale business into the new headquarters by the end of 2024.
