Ryan J. Riehl Joins Bodman PLC Ann Arbor Office

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that attorney Ryan J. Riehl has joined the firm as a member in the Ann Arbor office.
Riehl joins Bodman’s Tax and Business practice groups. He focuses his practice on federal and state tax matters for publicly traded companies, closely held businesses, real estate developers, oil and gas producers, financial institutions, investors, manufacturers, distributors, inventors, and individuals.
His expertise encompasses a broad range of issues, including partnership taxation, like-kind exchanges and other real estate tax matters, taxation of oil and gas properties, tax planning in connection with business acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations, private equity transactions, New Markets, Historic, Solar, Wind and other Tax Credit financing transactions, R&D tax credits, and both inbound and outbound U.S. international tax issues.
Before joining Bodman, Riehl was a shareholder with another large Michigan-based business law firm. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School, from which he also holds both J.D. and LL.M. degrees. Riehl earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Michigan State University.
