Fawzeih H. Daher represents corporate clients in complex commercial and general business disputes. Specializing in appeals, Fawzeih regularly briefs and argues high-stakes disputes in the Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has handled more than 70 appeals in Michigan’s state and federal appellate courts. She has successfully represented clients in reversing adverse decisions, defending trial court wins, and securing stays and other strategic relief. Her practice encompasses contractual disputes, business torts, real property matters, shareholder disputes, construction claims, and general liability litigation.
Fawzeih works closely with trial counsel on strategic issues such as identifying and framing key issues on appeal, preserving the trial court record, and developing a compelling litigation strategy. She regularly submits amicus curiae briefs in Michigan’s appellate courts on behalf of industry and professional organizations whose interests will be affected by cases involving significant legal and policy issues.
Fawzeih also maintains a strong trial litigation practice, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Her diverse litigation practice helps clients navigate their most difficult issues at each level of the court system.
Fawzeih is deeply involved in the legal and business community. Since 2022, she has served on the Executive Council of the State Bar of Michigan Appellate Practice Section. On the Appellate Practice Section, Fawzeih is Chair of the Rules and Legislation Committee, overseeing and drafting the Section’s comments on proposed court rule and legislative changes that may affect appellate practice. For five years, she served on the Executive Council of the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section. In this capacity, Fawzeih organized and assisted in hosting educational seminars, national mock trial competitions, and professional development and networking events for young lawyers. She also served as a Michigan delegate to the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
Fawzeih is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
She is fluent in Arabic.

- Outfront Media v CHHC. Obtained affirmance of trial court’s ruling that easement survived tax foreclosure under MCL 211.78k(5)(e), safeguarding the easement holder’s ability to enter into a lease on the property for maintenance of a billboard.
- EM v Acme Shooting Goods. Obtained grant of leave to appeal in the Michigan Court of Appeals on an issue of first impression regarding a negligent entrustment claim relying on an indirect liability theory.
- Schafer v Kent County. Drafted amicus brief in the Michigan Supreme Court wherein the Court agreed that that Michigan’s Takings Clause prohibited the County from selling foreclosed homes to pay delinquent property taxes and then retaining the surplus funds.
- Guess v Sharma. Obtained affirmance of dismissal of repeated lawsuit on the basis of res judicata on behalf of medical school in a case involving allegations of tortious interference and retaliation under the Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act.
- Pete’s Auto and Truck v Greg Hibbitts Transport Company, et al. Obtained affirmance of summary disposition for insurance carrier in $1 million property loss claim arising from a fire of a parked semi-truck which resulted in damage to an adjacent building and the building’s contents.
- In re Louis G Basso Jr Revocable Living Trust. Obtained dismissal of appeal for lack of jurisdiction on behalf of national financial services firm and 12 other defendants in a case involving allegations of improper accounting.
- Thomas v Kessel et al. Obtained affirmance of dismissal of legal malpractice and vicarious liability claims against client lawyers and law firm on the basis of statute of limitations.
- Riviera v Lowe’s Home Center. Obtained affirmance of trial court’s dismissal of premises liability claim against big-box store client.
