Thomas Gliniecki is an Associate in Bodman’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group. He represents clients involved in complex commercial litigation matters.

Before joining Bodman as an attorney, Thomas served as a law clerk to Judge Paul Maloney of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. In that role, he drafted orders and opinions, conducted legal research, and prepared materials for hearings and trials. He also served as a judicial intern to Judge David McKeague of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, as an adjunct instructor of business communication at Lansing Community College, and as a debate coach at several educational institutions, including Dartmouth College. Thomas’s background informs his approach to legal advocacy, particularly his focus on clear communication, thoughtful strategy, and persuasive argument.

As a law student, Thomas participated in Bodman’s Summer Associate program, gaining experience with a wide variety of practice areas and legal issues. He served as Notes Editor for the Michigan State Law Review and competed in the Moot Court program. He also served as President of the MSU College of Law Chapter of the American Constitution Society.
