Yousef Chamas focuses his practice on representing financial institutions in connection with commercial loan originations.

Before joining Bodman, Yousef was a law clerk for a Chicago-based boutique law firm that represented trading and investment firms. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Annette J. Berry of the Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan.

As a law student, Yousef was a member of the Business & Corporate Law Society and a student representative for the Iowa Student Bar Association. He also spent time as a research assistant to Professor Gregory Shill, where he conducted extensive legal research and analysis on corporate and transportation law topics.
