Elizabeth Blondin is a member of Bodman’s Banking Practice Group. She focuses her practice on representing financial institutions in connection with commercial loan originations and transactional matters.
As a law student, Elizabeth was a summer associate at a global law firm where she gained experience in drafting agreements and loan documents for finance transactions, drafting contracts for M&A deals in the oil and gas sectors, and researching case law and statutes regarding property, UCC and bankruptcy matters. She also served as a law clerk for a nationally recognized disability insurance and employee benefits law firm.
Prior to law school, Elizabeth spent three summers as a law clerk for a judge on the 7th Judicial Circuit Court in Genesee County, Michigan.
At the University of Michigan Law School, Elizabeth was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. She also received the Jeffrey S. Lehman award as the top 1L Legal Research and Writing Student. She served as a Senior Editor for the Michigan Law Review.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys travel, golf and cooking.
