Spencer M. Darling is a member of Bodman’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He represents clients in trademark, copyright, and commercial disputes in federal courts and arbitration, including contested proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He also counsels clients on trademark registration, brand protection, and online enforcement of trademark rights.
As a law student, Spencer served as a student attorney for the University of Michigan Law School Veterans Clinic, where he provided free legal services to veterans. Spencer was an Associate Editor and Managing Editor for the Journal of Law Reform, where he earned the Award for Exceptional Service for outstanding all-around contributions to the journal.
