Angela Alvarez Sujek Joins Bodman PLC’s Intellectual Property Practice Group

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Angela Alvarez Sujek has joined the Firm as a Member in the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Sujek is based in Bodman’s Ann Arbor office.
Sujek focuses her practice on trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution and enforcement, advertising and marketing, licensing, and corporate transactions involving intellectual property assets. She has handled international trademark protection and enforcement for large portfolios in the automotive, manufacturing, financial, food services, and medical device industries. She has
handled numerous contentious actions at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She has also provided substantive expertise in litigation matters involving trademark and copyright issues.
Sujek began her legal career with Bodman more than 25 years ago and spent the last ten years practicing with two other prominent Michigan-based law firms. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and World Trademark Review as one of Michigan’s leading attorneys for Trademark Law.
She is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law and the University of Michigan. Sujek is active in various professional organizations including the International Trademark Association (Member, Professional Development Committee) and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (Chair, Women in IP Outreach Committee and Member, Law Firm Associations Committee).
