Travis Peterson is a Senior Associate in Bodman’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
Before joining Bodman, Travis was an Associate with a Michigan-based civil defense firm, representing insurance companies and their insureds in complex, high-exposure litigation involving statutory and negligence-based claims. He has served as lead counsel in dozens of matters and has experience managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
While attending the University of Notre Dame Law School, Travis spent his summers clerking with the City of Detroit Law Department where, among other accomplishments, he drafted an analysis of Michigan’s automobile insurance reform. In addition to his coursework, he served as Managing Notes Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation, interned with the Community Development Clinic, and participated in the Notre Dame Business Law Forum.
He is admitted to practice before the United State District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
