We are always looking to add outstanding law students and lawyers to our firm. We seek candidates that embrace a commitment to the highest quality legal work, superior client service and strong work ethic. We are proud of the work we do and we expect that attorneys who join us will share that same pride.
Many of our members joined the firm as summer associates. Our summer associate program provides talented law students with exposure to Bodman’s varied practice groups. Summer associates work on actual client matters that associate attorneys would otherwise handle.
We only invite summer associates who combine outstanding academic credentials, initiative and a commitment to teamwork to join the firm. We hire the best students from leading law schools nationwide and have had unparalleled success in the percentage of summer associates who receive and accept offers of full-time employment.
Bodman’s Commitment to Diversity
Bodman is committed to diversity in the workplace at all levels of the firm. We believe that diversity promotes a rich environment that produces the progressive and creative thinking essential to providing the best legal services. This commitment to diversity guides Bodman’s efforts to recruit, retain and advance the best and brightest law school graduates, lateral members and associates. For example, Bodman participates in the Wolverine Bar Association’s Summer Clerkship Program each year, which seeks to increase the number of minority attorneys employed as partners, associates, in-house counsel and other well-respected positions within the legal community by placing first-year minority law students at Metro Detroit law firms and corporations.
